University of Bath invites applications for MSc Global Public Health and Policy

The University of Bath has started inviting applications for its MSc Global Public Health and Policy program for the academic year 2024-25. The Master’s program aims to engage students who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the major public health issues facing humanity. This program is ideal for students who want to develop their knowledge of the public health field and its related policy perspectives by diving into the geopolitical, social, and natural factors that influence public health and well-being.

By focusing on these root causes, the program will help students explore the impact of policy at both the macro and micro levels – learning to critically assess the intersection of policy and epidemiology using real-world cases. In the program, students will be guided by real-world public health experts with deep knowledge and industry connections spanning public health and policy areas. Interested candidates should note that the last date to apply for the program is June 30, 2024. The program is scheduled to begin in September 2024.

eligibility criteria:

Candidates who are willing to join MSc Global Public Health and Policy Program at the University of Bath Typically a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate health subject with a final overall result of at least first class. Developed by the Department of Health, the course fees for Indian students starting in September 2024 is £26,500. Students pay a £1,000 deposit after receiving their offer, this will be deducted from tuition fees upon registration. They will conduct research, analyze data, and prepare a written report and presentation with their solutions. Graduates are equipped with a strong foundation in public health and policy and practical research skills, ideal for roles such as an epidemiologist or NGO aid worker. Previous graduates have secured roles in the NHS or undertaken further training in medicine.
