For the first time, an eye-catching nine hawk acrobatic display – accompanied by music paying homage to the new India – is saluting the sky at the Narendra Modi Stadium minutes before the ICC Cricket World Cup final clash between India and Australia.

The Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team was formed in 1996 and consists of highly trained IAF pilots who demonstrate their expertise in precision aerobatics. The team has enthralled many spectators in India and abroad by flying the Hawk MK 132 aircraft.
The team practiced on Friday and Saturday and gave people a glimpse of what awaits fans in the stadium on D-Day. India reached the ODI World Cup final after defeating New Zealand on Wednesday, while Australia entered the final after winning a super-entertaining game by three wickets against South Africa in the second World Cup semi-final on Thursday.
Meanwhile, prayers and havans are being held across the country for the victory of the Indian team so that the Men in Blue can win the title for the third time.
