On Monday, when Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut accused the saffron party’s Maharashtra unit president Chandrashekhar Bawankule of gambling worth Rs 3.5 crore in a Macau casino, clashes broke out between the Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Bharatiya Janata Party, news agency PTI reported. There was a clash. The BJP responded by posting a photo of Raut’s aide Aaditya Thackeray with a glass on social media and asking “which brand of whiskey” the former minister of state was drinking. Raut had shared a photo of Bawankule which he said was taken at a casino in Macau, a special administrative region of China.

According to the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Bawankule spent Rs 3.5 crore in just three hours while gaming there.
Responding to the allegations, the BJP on its official

Criticizing Raut, BJP further said, “People whose entire life has become a gamble cannot see anything else.”
Uploading a picture, BJP said, ‘We want Raut to tell which brand of whiskey is in Aditya Thackeray’s glass?’
Speaking to the media, Raut said, “I have 27 photographs and five videos of him (Bawankule), but I have the decency not to publish them. If I make those videos public, it will cause a big loss to him and the party.” It would be embarrassing.”
“I just want to know what exactly he was doing there. I was told by someone there that he spent around Rs 3.5 crore in just one night. I knew that (Stamp Paper key accused) Telgi spent just one night. He spent Rs 1 crore in a dance bar in the night. Should we call his (Bawankule’s) extravagance good days?” Raut said while taking Bawankule to task.
According to Raut, the more BJP tries to hide or deny this issue, the more it will be exposed.
“If Bawankule was not gambling, what was he doing at the casino tables? He spent Rs 3.5 crore in just three hours. He paid in US dollars,” Raut alleged.
Maharashtra is beset by many serious challenges, and its people are suffering, yet Bawankule claims to be having a good time at The Venice Macao, which is famous for casinos and gambling.
“It doesn’t look good,” Raut said.
When asked about Aditya Thackeray’s picture, Raut hit back and said: “Whatever Prime Minister Narendra Modi drinks from his glass, Aditya was seen drinking the same drink.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis claimed that Raut was displaying “perverted mentality” and “desperation”.
Fadnavis said Bawankule was present with his family and they were having dinner at a restaurant which also houses the casino.
“Intentionally, an incomplete picture has been uploaded. The complete picture clearly shows Bawankule, his wife, daughter and his entire family. Therefore, this kind of distorted mentality must end somewhere because so much despair is not justified. Is,” Fadnavis said while attacking Raut. ,

He claimed that such claims were deteriorating the quality of politics through manipulation and alteration of images.
