Election 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday asked people of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh to vote and participate in the celebration of democracy as the states go to the polls today. Noting that every vote is valuable for democracy, the PM said he was confident that people from all walks of life would come forward to exercise their franchise. Voting is taking place for all 230 assembly seats of Madhya Pradesh and 70 seats in the second phase of Chhattisgarh elections.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also appealed to the people to vote. He said that each vote will decide the future of youth, farmers and women. He said, “Today there will be voting for the remaining 70 seats… Your one vote will decide the future of youth, farmers, women… Please come out of your homes to vote… Vote for the betterment of Chhattisgarh. ” ,
