Renowned sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik expressed his good wishes for Team India ahead of the India-Australia ICC Cricket World Cup final through a spectacular sand art creation on the beach in Puri. The intricate artwork comes as an endorsement to wish the team all the best as they prepare for the crucial final on November 19.
While people across India are eager to watch the final, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi praised Team India’s exceptional performance and teamwork during the ICC Cricket World Cup. In a video message, he congratulated the team for continuously bringing glory to the country.
Sonia Gandhi lauded the inspiring journey to the final and highlighted the lessons of unity, hard work, determination and unwavering self-belief that extend beyond the cricket field.

To show support, Congress workers performed a havan at the party headquarters in Lucknow and prayed for India’s success in the World Cup final against Australia. Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai organized a havan, expressing confidence of India’s victory on the basis of excellent performance in the entire tournament.
The priests chanted mantras and performed special pujas to seek blessings for India’s victory. A party release said an LED screen will be installed at the party headquarters for live telecast of the match, news agency PTI reported.
Special puja was performed at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain this morning to mark India’s victory in the ICC World Cup final match against Australia.
