India has given a ‘clear’ message to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on the ongoing conflict in Gaza Strip, saying the country has always advocated the resumption of direct negotiations for the establishment of a sovereign, independent and viable State of Palestine. Speaking on humanitarian assistance concerns, India’s Permanent Envoy to the UN said, “We are also firm on our commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to the people of Palestine and have already delivered 70 tonnes of disaster relief material including 17 tonnes of medicines ” “And two tranches of medical supplies and our humanitarian support continues.”
