Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru has launched GATE 2024 application facility at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Registered candidates who will appear for the examination can make changes to their GATE 2024 application by logging in to the official website – gate2024.iisc.ac.in using their login credentials. Candidates will be able to make changes in their online application till November 24, 2023. Candidates should note that to make changes in their GATE 2024 application, candidates will have to pay a correction fee of Rs 500. However, candidates who wish to do so will have to pay a correction fee of Rs 1,400 for changing their ‘gender’.
Notably, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, is the organizing institute of GATE 2024, and the premier institute is scheduled to conduct the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Candidates will be able to download their GATE. 2024 Admit Card from January 2024. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted this year for a total of 30 papers.
Earlier, IISC Bengaluru had ended the GATE 2024 registration cum application process on October 20, 2023. Candidates who have completed a government approved graduate degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Architecture/Humanities were eligible to apply for the GATE 2024 exam. Candidates who are currently studying in the third year of their undergraduate degree were also allowed to apply for the GATE 2024 exam. Last year the eligibility criteria for GATE exam also included commerce subject which has been removed this year. - Visit the official website -gate2024.iisc.ac.in
- On the homepage, login to the portal using your login credentials
- After logging in, open your GATE 2024 application form and make the desired changes
- Pay Application Correction Fee and Submit Application
- Download the application confirmation page for future reference
