President Murmu will flag off 3 trains today
President Draupadi Murmu will flag off three trains from Badampahar railway station in Odisha on Tuesday, news agency PTI reported. The trains are – Shalimar-Badampahar and Badampahad-Rourkela weekly express trains and a MEMU between Badampahad and Tatanagar. These will connect tribal areas to big cities and give a huge boost to the local economy, access to health care and tribal tourism, a railway official told the news agency.
According to the Railways, the Shalimar-Badampahar Weekly Express will be the first express train connecting Shalimar near Kolkata in West Bengal to Badampahad in Odisha. The second weekly express train will connect Badampahad areas with India’s steel city Rourkela.
The third train Tatanagar-Badampahad MEMU will be important for daily commuters as it will run six days a week. except Sunday.
Gyanvapi controversy: District court will hear the issue of handing over the basement keys to DM
